37 pounds to 100!

So I’ve lost a total of 63 pounds overall in my health journey which took a serious turn for good December 2011. I started my health journey at 320 pounds and fought hard to get out and stay out of the 300s. with many things going on with my body from crazy blood sugar numbers to tender joints that made working out VERY painful.

I’ve grown in ways which only God do, by surrendering this life and all that He gives back to Him. I’ve been misunderstood and considered weird as I have become more comfortable in this unique skin God has given me. Learning to go about life solo has been a tremendous lesson enabling me to truly understand what I want and desired for MY LIFE.

Two years ago when I shot a video highlighting a milestone on my journey to optimal health. I was fed up with the decline of my health and quality of life, so I got up and did something for me!  As I write this post I am teary and sooo thankful.

God has been faithful honoring my commitment to enhance my quality of life to be in good health. Working out when I didn’t want to go and making the necessary sacrifices to better my temple were not always easy or understood, but have benefited me greatly!

A total of 63 pounds later and 37 pounds till I reach 100 pounds going back is NOT an option!

As I reached the big 4-0 on Friday (February 28th) life is GOOD and God is consistently GOOD to me!

  1. Congratulations, Sis on your wonderful accomplishment! I pray that I can find myself in that same motivation to get off this excess myself (as I’m considerably older than you are, but yet living and able!) May your path continually be blessed and highly favored! 🙂
