Not a #MeatlessMonday meal, however this is definitely less food than my normal holiday consumption. Can you hit the PROGRESS button!!!
When we truly look at it, we labor a lot over many things and while no job we work or business opportunity we pursue is absent of labor, we do have areas of our life that require more laboring than others.
My wellness journey has required more laboring than I ever could have imagined. It has been a labor of self-love. From learning to love myself, to learning to love my body, learning to take better care of my body was work! Believe that! We don’t just get up and decide we are going to do this for the rest of our life or even for 1 week. No way Jose’! We decide daily with the choices we make to honor the body that has been entrusted to us.
The picture of my plate is labor. I am proud of it, because I know it took some work to get to this type of control and being OK with satisfied vs. fall out full like a tick, as I have in the past. It’s so easy to go all out and over indulge on holidays, however, when you realize over indulgence has repercussions), you’d rather enjoy just enough and keep it moving.
I hope you take time to reflect on the labor of your journey and the moments to celebrate your journey. When you think about it, you’ve come a long way baby!
